BE SOBER and BE VIGILANT

1Peter 5:6-11 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
      Be sober,
      Be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

The thief cometh not,
      but for to steal,
     and to kill,
      and to destroy:
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I Am the Good Shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. [John 10:10,11]

WE HAVE AN ADVERSARY
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
    but against principalities,
    against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[Ephesians 6:10-18]

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. [2 Corinthians 10:3-6]

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.  Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. [1Timothy 6:11; 2 Timothy 2: 22]

This is my first post which is under construction.

Fresh Manna of the Day: 06-December-2015 – Sunday
“Give us this day our daily bread:  man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God”

The ABC’s of SALVATION

A-acknowledge that you have fallen short of the Glory of God- a sinner in need of a Saviour. The scripture, clearly says that ALL HAVE SINNED and NO ONE IS RIGTHEOUS IN THE EYES OF GOD; NO ONE SEEKS GOD. Everyone has gone on their own ways. So you are not excused from the judgment of God whoever you are. You cannot escape from God’s wrath that is to come upon all men.

Acts 2:38 [1] Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, [2] and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

Acts 3: 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. 20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

B-believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because e hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

C-confess Him before men.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto Righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.

You need to confess Him before men.
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

A Sinner’s Prayer to Receive Jesus as Savior

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the Name of Jesus.

Your Word says, “. . . him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37), so I know You won’t cast me out, but You take me in and I thank You for it.

You said in Your Word, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10:13). I am calling on Your Name, so I know You have saved me now.

You also said “. . . if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom. 10:9–10). I believe in my heart Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He was raised from the dead for my justification, and I confess Him now as my Lord.

Because Your Word says, “. . . with the heart man believeth unto righteousness . . .” and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Cor. 5:21) . . . And I am saved!

Thank You, Lord!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Please come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. I want to receive you as my Lord and Saviour. I want to be born again.

I receive you now as my Lord and Saviour. I receive God as my Father.
Thank you for saving me.

Amen
